“You probably forgot i’m now ‘Chief'”- Joseph Yobo reminds Buhari following presidency visit

Ex-Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo was part of a delegation of Niger Delta traditional rulers who paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari earlier today at Aso Rock.


After the meeting, Yobo made President Buhari aware that he is now a traditional chief, when
the President’s official Twitter account posted about the former footballer’s visit to the Villa...

Buhari tweeted:

“Joseph Yobo was also part of the delegation that visited me this morning”.

And Yobo replied,

"Thanks for receiving us Mr. President & the #NDCleanup. You probably forgot I’m now ‘Chief’"

The meeting was connected to the ongoing efforts by the President to
clean up the environmentally devastated Niger Delta region.

The delegation was led led by HRM
