A young lady is currently battling with a strange inflammation on her lower lip due to complications from a lipstick. Lily Cleopatra Maurice from Orlando, Florida shared photos of her swollen lower lip from a hospital bed claiming they were caused by a Covergirl lipstick she used. See what she wrote:

A former Nigerian Ambassador to the U.S., Hamzat Ahmadu (in white) is dead. Mr. Ahmadu, who was also the Walin Sokoto, died at a private hospital in Lagos yesterday at the age of 92.

High Court sentences 3 Kidnappers to death by hanging

A Delta State High Court sitting in Effurun, has sentenced three persons, Augustin Akpojivi, Dawel James and Collins Enye, to death by hanging for the offence of kidnapping.

WTH! Man kills woman and continued to have sex with her dead body

A man allegedly killed a woman as they made love - then continued to have sex with her dead body.
Timothy Johnson, 25, was arrested after the decomposing body of Judith Therianos was found in woods in Tampa, Florida, earlier this month.

FG declares May 2nd public holiday

The Federal government has declared Monday May 2nd a public holiday to commemorate workers day celebration which falls on Sunday May 1st. The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau announced this in a statement released and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Bassey Akpanyung.

Two-year-old son mistakenly shot his Mom from the back-seat as she was driving

A toddler riding in the back of a car accidentally shot dead his mother with a gun that slid out from under the driver's seat on Tuesday April 26 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin The 26-year-old victim, Patrice Price, was pronounced dead at the scene, the local sheriff's office said. The child, aged two and a half and identified by local media as a boy, fired the 40-calibre gun through the driver's seat where his mother was at the wheel.

President Buhari stops Govt officials from tavelling abroad for medical treatments

The Federal Government said it has stopped providing resources to government officials to travel abroad for medical attention on cases that could be handled in the country. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 56th Annual General Conference and delegates meeting of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, in Sokoto, President Muhammadu Buhari, said his administration would not encourage expending hard earned resources on any government official seeking medical care abroad

Graphic photos: Suspected Fulani herdsmen kill people in Nimbo, Enugu state

Many people are said to have been killed by suspected herdsmen in Nimbo, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu Stateon Monday. The spokesman of the police in Enugu State, Mr Ebere Amaraizu who confirmed the incident said the Commissioner of Police, Mr Nwodibo Ekechukwu had already moved to the local government to ensure that normalcy returned.

18-year-old kills landlady, children and grandchildren

An 18-year-old man, identified simply as Sunday, is currently in the police custody in Abuja after he allegedly killed his parents’ landlady, identified only as Mama Moses.

NDLEA arrests a mother who pretended to be pregnant with pellets of cocaine

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested 46 year old Dorothy Onyekasi pictured above, who faked a pregnancy with 86 pellets of white powdery substances that tested positive to cocaine while trying to board an Emirate flight to Dubai at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport MMIA Lagos.

The mother of three who hails from Enugu and trades in ladies bags and shoes, had cocaine that weighed 1.720 kilogrammes with an estimated street value of N20.6 million.

Boko Haram demands $50m ransom for the release of Chibok schoolgirls

Boko Haram is seeking a ransom of nearly £40m for the release of the 219 schoolgirls that it kidnapped from the Nigerian town of Chibok two years ago, sources close to the group have told The Sunday Telegraph.

The terror sect is thought to have issued the demand during secret contacts with the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, who has said he is willing to negotiate for the girls' freedom.

WTH! See UNILAG students 'flying' over the gate in order to leave the school premises after shutdown

The Senate of the University of Lagos in a circular posted to various notice boards yesterday morning, gave students till 10am to vacate their halls of residence “in order to avoid further breakdown of law and order”. Students of the institution had on Wednesday 7 April, 2016, embarked on a protest to register their displeasure over poor living conditions occasioned by inadequate power and water supply. Following the expiration of the deadline, the hostel and school gates were locked with students still in the premises. In a move reminiscent of Hollywood action movies, the students, both male and female alike resorted to flying over the gate.
