There’s a lot to take away from Khloé Kardashian’s stripped down Harper’s Bazaar spread, like the fact that she’s somehow never seen Kendall Jenner on the runway or that stylists have refused to work with her because she was “too big.”
Perhaps the biggest reveal from the interview, though, is that Khloé, like anyone else, is affected by Instagram comments. Yep, she reads the comments — and thinks that people who say they don’t are “lying,” but I digress — and will take one negative one to heart, while dismissing 10 positive ones.
A recent example: After posting a
picture of herself in a mini dress,
one commenter mentioned her
“horrible” thighs.
“That was the only mean comment!” Khloé says, exasperated. The next day, though, she announced to
her trainer that she wanted to
work on her inner thighs.
“I know I don’t have fat thighs,”
she laughs, “but I was so pissed
that I let that comment affect me. The fact that I’m even saying it
the next morning to my trainer
makes me irritated with myself.”
Can everyone just shut up
and keep mean comments to
themselves? Are you adding
anything to the world by
writing the word “horrible” on
a photo of Khloé Kardashian? No? Great, then I think we can
all agree that you shouldn’t
waste your finger energy
typing it. Save those li’l guys for
something good.
